A very rare pair of Sassuolo faience pierced potpourri vases, mid-18th century

22.6cm high, 26cm wide 

Of compressed baluster shape, each resting on a domed foot with scroll-shaped double handles, the neck of each vase pierced and decorated with applied branches and flowers, painted in a polychrome palette.
